Judgment Day
10th June 08
I promised myself I wouldn’t get worked up about today and that
whatever happened, the result didn’t matter as it was all about the
experience. Yeah, right!!
Judging day has turned me into a mad, competitive mess and
although there’s nothing more I can do I am still finding things to
do (ie trying to pass the time!) and getting on everyone’s nerves
in the process.
The whole team has worked so hard on this project that I would
love to win a medal (I don’t care what colour!) just as a thank you
to them and Bradstone for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
Even Sarah is nervous, and I didn’t think she would be, being such
an old hand at this!
I have to say (and I know I may be slightly biased!) that our
garden does look fantastic and I think we’ve fulfilled the original
brief. We really have brought a slice of the Good Life to
Birmingham and I just hope the judges appreciate what I’ve tried to
achieve.
Now I’m going to try and find somewhere for a cuppa and a
sit-down to calm my nerves
