A planting masterclass

The master has been at work today! Not me, I hasten to add, but I was joined by renowned garden designer Sarah Eberle, who has been my mentor during this project and is fresh from winning Gold at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

I don’t know how she has the energy. Just this one show is wearing me out. I might have to speak to the husband about booking a holiday for afterwards!

It’s such an honour to be working with a woman who has created three Gold medal winning Chelsea show gardens in the past three years. She’s so easy to work with and passionate about plants that we had a great day and I feel completely exhilarated and have learnt so much. Sarah explained all the techniques she was using, as well as some hints and tips for show gardens!

My idea is bursting to life before my eyes and I sometimes have to pinch myself to check this is all really happening.
