The winning garden

Congratulations to Heather Appleton, our designer for BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2008.

Every garden design should start with a good story and Heather’s will take visitors on a journey to discover the ‘Key to the Good Life’, exploring issues of sustainability in a fun and unexpected way.

We wanted a design that would inspire, entertain and surprise visitors, grabbing their imagination with new concepts and ideas. It's clear that Heather’s design has achieved that from the reception and accolades it is receiving at the show and the silver gilt medal the RHS awarded it.
