Judgment day

It doesn’t matter how many times I go through this, I always
feel the same on judging day at a show – terrified!
The garden looks fantastic even if I do say so myself! Everyone
has worked so hard to realise Heather’s design, so the icing on the
cake would be a medal. And being the perfectionist I am, I’m
obviously hoping for a Gold.
The only person more nervous than me is Heather, who is wearing
out the paving with her pacing. But she can be really proud of what
she’s achieved.
The best thing about the judging aside from the celebrations if
we do get Gold is that once it’s over we can all breathe a
collective sigh of relief and get on with enjoying the show and
what it’s really all about – delighting and inspiring the
public.
I’m off to join Heather for a cuppa – keep everything crossed
for us!
