Bunny's Biography
Bunny Guinness is a weekly gardening columnist for the Sunday
Telegraph and is a regular panelist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’
Question Time. She is a chartered landscape architect and, when not
writing or presenting, spends the majority of her time designing
for private and commercial projects, with work ranging from tiny
city gardens to golf courses.
She began her career as a landscape architect after gaining a
BSc in Horticulture at Reading University and studying Landscape
Architecture at Birmingham Polytechnic (now the Birmingham City
University).
Since setting up her own practice in 1986, Bunny has gained
recognition as a talented designer, winning six gold medals at the
Chelsea Flower Show.
Bunny has published a number of books including ‘Family
Gardens’, ‘Garden Transformations’ and ‘Garden Workshop’ and has
also joint authored several titles with the Gardeners’ Question
Time panel. Her new book, ‘Gardening Your Way to Health and
Fitness’, co-authored with physiotherapist Jackie Knox came out in
April 2008.
She has had gardens featured on a number of television
programmes, including her own series, ‘Guinness in the Garden’.
