Adam's Biography
Adam Pasco is the editor of BBC Gardeners' World magazine, a
title he launched from scratch in 1991. He's been a keen gardener
since childhood, gaining an honours degree in horticulture and
working in commercial nurseries, before becoming a respected
gardening journalist.
Adam is a well-known face in the media. He's a regular radio
broadcaster, has made numerous television appearances (including
judging BBC Gardener Of The Year), had a regular column in the
Daily Telegraph, and has written for many magazines, newspapers and
websites. The British Society of Magazine Editors has even twice
crowned him 'Editor Of The Year' - in 1998 and 2004.
He has also contributed to a number of
gardening books, including the Collins Complete Garden Manual,
Collins Gardeners' Calendar, The Greenfingers Book and the HDRA
Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening.
Adam's garden includes 'a bit of everything',
providing a gardening studio used every month to capture practical
photos that illustrate the 'What To Do Now' sections of the
magazine and website.
